Oh Sunny Day

Today was a gorgeous day so we all headed outside. Dan and I did yardwork (we are tilling to get ready to plant some trees and shrubs) while the kids played in the sprinkler. Connor kept running off but Eliana just strutted right in and stood there in the cold water opening and closing her eyes. She also loved carrying these two buckets around. She would hand them to me and then take them back.

They both looked so cute in daddy's work hat.

Fearless but cold.



(She did start off in clothes and ended up in the buff....)

March Recap

*Dan made Connor a huge robot (gun arms were added later as you can see on the video).

*Eli being silly and only wanting to sit in Connor's chair now.

The kids and I went to my parents' in San Antonio for spring break and had a great time.

*Eliana finally started crawling onto things by herself.

*The kids love playing together. Connor put Eli in the laundry basket and then decided to get in with her.

Time flies when you're having fun!! Eliana is saying hi, bye, no, mamma, mine and what's that. Connor is learning to count to one hundred and can write his name really well. I'm so proud of them both!!

Whistle Stop Park

The kids and I visited my bestfriend, Katie, and her two kiddos, Liam (2.5yrs) and Olivia (2 mos) whom live 2 hrs. south of us. We went to a park that is next to an old train depot where there is an old locomotive that people can climb up in to pull the bell, see the old controls, etc. The kids had a blast doing that, having a picnic lunch (even though the wind kept blowing everything around), and playing at the playground. Connor was so focused on covering first base, but he didn't know he was supposed to catch the ball that was thrown to him to try to tag the person out. It was so cute!!

Tball game

Today was Connor's first official t-ball game. He seems to really enjoy it. He connected with the ball twice and ran as fast as his little legs would carry him. I think I may have been screaming a little too loud at him to run though!! At the end of the game, he asked me if he did awesome. :)
