The chemo is working!!

We are so excited b/c we found out that Pop's chemo is definitely working!! The spot on his lung and tumor in his colon are both smaller than in January, so yeah!! We are so happy to get this positive news b/c it gives us hope for the future. A few more months of chemo are planned and then surgery to remove the tumor. Please continue to pray for him though!! We love you Pipa and Mima!!

Soccer Woman

Not sure if you know this, but a friend of mine convinced me to play on a womens' soccer team, so I decided why not? And.....It is much harder than I remembered!! We are almost done with the season and I'm definitely no Mia Hamm, but not the worst player either I guess. I have mainly played midfield and it involves tons of running, but I look at it as a great workout!! Not sure if I'll play next year, but I'm definitely glad I challenged myself to try it.

Oh Sunny Day

Today was a gorgeous day so we all headed outside. Dan and I did yardwork (we are tilling to get ready to plant some trees and shrubs) while the kids played in the sprinkler. Connor kept running off but Eliana just strutted right in and stood there in the cold water opening and closing her eyes. She also loved carrying these two buckets around. She would hand them to me and then take them back.

They both looked so cute in daddy's work hat.

Fearless but cold.



(She did start off in clothes and ended up in the buff....)

March Recap

The kids and I went to my parents' in San Antonio for spring break and had a great time.

*The kids love playing together. Connor put Eli in the laundry basket and then decided to get in with her.

Time flies when you're having fun!! Eliana is saying hi, bye, no, mamma, mine and what's that. Connor is learning to count to one hundred and can write his name really well. I'm so proud of them both!!
