The deck is done!!

It took us a few hours to get all the holes dug since the auger got stuck....

The somewhat final product. We still have to put up a few support braces and stain the deck, but then it will be complete!! Hope you can come sit on it one day with us!!

Rangers game

Dan and Connor got to go a Texas Rangers game. Part of the package was a pre-game parade and tour of the field. (I think Dan enjoyed this part a little more than Connor though). They had great seats on the third base line and sampled every type of food and drink under the sun!! Father and son bonding-gotta love it!!

Field trip to Doogoland

Fill'er up

So excited!!

This was Connor's first field trip with his pre-k field trip. We went to a place called Doogoland where they could pretend and play in different areas. Connor had a blast!

Strawberrt picking

We went strawberry picking with our Moms group. Eli wasn't sure what to do at first, but then she got the hang of it and wanted to pick all the berries!! Connor had a great time searching for the best strawberries and kept showing everyone how many he had in his basket.

Connor's surgery

Connor had his ear surgery today. They put new tubes in since he's been having ear infections since the old ones fell out. He also had his adnoids removed, so he had to have anesthesia. He didn't like the way the "giggle juice" tasted, but it did relax him. After he woke up, he had 3 popsicles!! As soon as we got in the car he requested a cheeseburger from McDonald's, since he was starving. Besides a raspy voice, it was like he didn't even have the surgery!! I'm hoping it works this time and the fluid in his ears goes away for good.
